Struggling to get your design finished? Don’t quite know how to setup your artwork so its print ready? Got everything on scraps of paper and don’t know where to start? We get it. No matter where you are with your design we’re here to help. From alighting text for a business card to a full concept and fulfilment of a double vinyl gatefold sleeve we have seen and done it all. We don’t mind if you come in and sit in our studio to workout your design or if you want to work via correspondence, either way, we’re super flexible and will give you the best advice to get the most out of your project!
Preparation is key when it come to design.
If you want us to help with artwork that has already been started, we recommend supplying any files that you have as a print-ready PDF file so that we can work on them in-house, but to be safe if you are coming into the office bring everything you have.
With projects that we are starting from scratch, we recommend finding some sample or even pictures of the type of look that you are hoping to achieve with your design so we can have some direction in the style that you hope to achieve. We also recommend supply any images that you want to use at the highest resolution possible and to have any text type up and supplied in an additional document to save time and to ensure that no spelling grammatical errors are produced.
If you are struggling for a concept for you project, we suggest coming into our showroom and looking through the 1000’s of samples that we have on display. It’s a great way to see what possible and to get that spark of inspiration that will help us to create an amazing product for you!
How longs something takes depends greatly on the type of project it is and how far you want to take it. We can design business cards in a little as 15 minutes and most CD covers take from 1-3 hours (from scratch). The best thing to do is to call or drop in to talk to one of our specialists who will be able to approximate a quote depending on what you are after. If you wish to sit down with a designer and work on your project you will need to book in a time beforehand and although walk ins are sometimes possible they are never guaranteed so its always best to call ahead.
Our design service is costed at $80 ex GST per hour and is charged in 15 minute blocks. This price is only available on projects that are to be run through Implant Media. If you need help with other design requiments the hourly rate is $120 ex GST.
