ORDER FAQs

We prefer all artwork to be print ready PDFs. Please insure images are at 300DPI when at 100% size.
We can work with Photoshop .psd and Illustrator .ai files. However, it is important that if you save your artwork in either .psd or .ai file formats that you outline all fonts, embed all images. Please refer to the artwork specs sheet to get all the specifications for the artwork.
Your design should be created using CMYK colour mode.
No, do not flatten layers in your artwork. Flattening layers means that your artwork cannot be edited later should that be required.
Bleed is a small amount of extra space around the edges of artwork that can be cut-off when it is being trimmed. It is clearly shown on Implant’s design templates. The bleed area allows for a margin of error to occur in this trimming process. The bleed margin also ensures that printing of the artwork can continue right to the edge of the cut surface.

A master disc should be exactly how you’d like the copies to be.

AUDIO CDs

Use high res audio files.

CD audio is encoded at 16bit, 44.1 KHz. It’s best to make your master CD from files that are at least 16bit, 44.1 KHz. We don’t recommend making a master CD from MP3s.

Burn as audio.

DO NOT burn a data disc. Data discs can not be read as audio in a standard CD player.

Use verification.

Verification will compare the burned disc to the origianl audio files and check for errors. Use a disc burning program that does verification.

Listen to the burned disc.

As a final check, listen to the burned CD in a few CD players and make sure it works and sounds how you want it to.

DATA CDs

Use verification.

Verification will compare the burned disc to the origianl files and check for errors. Use a disc burning program that does verification.

Check the burn.

As a final check, test the data disc in a few different computers (PC and Mac) and make sure it works how you want it to.
